Vibronic coupling and optical coherence of single photon emitters in hexagonal boron nitride

Abstract

Isolated defects in hexagonal boron nitride are a promising platform for single photon generation. I’ll describe how phonons are important in determining their optical properties and the recent observation of optical Rabi oscillations.
