Mutual Information Propagation through an Optical Phase Sensitive Amplifier

Abstract

A phase-sensitive amplifier (PSA) based on four-wave mixing in a rubidium va-por is investigated. Twin beams are generated and the mutual information between the two beams is studied before and after one propagates through a PSA.
