Integrated Near-infrared Diffuse Optical Imaging and Digital Breast Tomography for monitoring compression induced hemodynamics in breast cancer patients

Abstract

We report preliminary results from our second-generation near-infrared diffuse optical imaging system integrated with digital breast tomography. Specifically, we measure dynamic changes in the breast tissue blood volume of a breast cancer patient after applying compression.
