Hilbert Transform by Optical Scanning Holography

Abstract

We propose a technique of obtaining the Hilbert transform for incoherent objects. We design pupil functions in optical scanning holography so as to obtain the hologram of the Hilbert transform of the scanned object. From the hologram, we can extract the Hilbert transform of the object. Computer simulations verify the proposed technique.
