Abstract

Electroholography is a 3D-display technique, which allows us to observe full-parallax 3D images in space. However, 3D displays using the technique require complicated optical systems and many display devices, meaning no practical system has been developed to date. In this paper, we report on a computer-aided design (CAD) system to optimize the development of the optical system. Our CAD system can evaluate a reconstructed image without having to develop an actual optical system.
