Quantitative Optical Coherence Tomography Imaging of Cell Death

Abstract

A quantitative technique measuring OCT backscatter power is used to detect three modes of cell death in acute myeloid leukemia cells. Changes in backscatter are correlated with structural differences observed in histological staining of cells.
