Photoacoustic imaging with a large, cylindrical detector

Abstract

This work is engaged in the investigation of a cylindrical shaped piezoelectric detector for photoacoustic imaging. This detector gives a plane detection area. Simulations and experiments with such a detector are shown and discussed.
