Phase Amplification in Fringe Projection Topography and Digital Holography

Abstract

Due to nonlinear fringe detection in fringe projection topography and digital holography, non-sinusoidal fringe profiles are detected. Amplified phase distribution of the fringe pattern is calculated using phase at higher harmonic frequency of fringe spectrum. The-oreical consideration and experimental verification of increase of measurement sensitivity are presented.
