Evaluation of holographic optical tweezers based on a hybrid diffractive system for manipulating microdroplets

Abstract

We applied a hybrid diffractive system to holographic optical tweezers and evaluated its performance for manipulating microdroplets. Experimental results demonstrate that microdroplets are transported successfully in parallel with equivalent velocities over the entire manipulation area.
