Suppression of Speckle Noise in Digital Holography via Rotating Polarization State

Abstract

We propose a speckle noise suppression method by averaging reconstruction images using different polarized holograms. Statistical evaluation of the experimental results verifies the effectiveness of the proposed concept and recording setup.
