Abstract
This paper summarizes a wavefront recording method, that is one of fast algorithms for computer generated hologram (CGH), and related works. The method calculates a CGH by two steps. The first one records complex amplitude from a three-dimensional (3D) object light composed of multiple point light sources on a virtual plane, which is introduced between the 3D object and the CGH, The second one calculates the CGH pattern by a diffraction calculation.
