Abstract

A scheme for the resolution enhancement of three-dimensional display which uses multiplexed holographic optical element (HOE) is proposed. The proposed method adopts angle multiplexing technique of volume hologram, which is composed of sequential recording process with different angle of reference beams. The implemented HOE mimics two overlapped lens arrays which are separated by half of lens pitch in horizontal direction according to the direction of incident light.
