Shack-Hartmann Tomography for Multimode Optical Beam Propagation

Abstract

We experimentally show how Shack-Hartmann tomography enables measuring the mutual coherence function of multimode laser light and thus enable proper description of beam intensity propagation. A standard Shack-Hartmann single-shot measurement is used in the method.
