Tutorial: Referenceless Holography using Transport of Intensity and its Applications

Abstract

Techniques for phase retrieval during optical propagation are examined, including transport of intensity and phase equations and their solution methods. Applications to induced phase determination during self-phase modulation, topography, tomography, and problems in linear and nonlinear propagation are discussed.
