Abstract

The main limitation in most applications of digital holography is the limited space bandwidth product of both recorded and reconstructed holograms. In this talk we will discuss different concepts and implementations of synthetic aperture hologram and multiplexing techniques which allow to mitigate this problem. The emphasis will be given to the solutions for wide angle 3D imaging with photorealistic quality in holographic displays and high resolution quantitative phase retrieval in holographic microscopy and tomography of biological samples.
