A Pixelization Optimization Algorithm for Generating Binary Patterns Using Diffractive Optical Elements

Abstract

A novel optimization algorithm for design of diffractive optical elements is presented. With error reduction of a pixel with the largest error in an iterative process, the quality of the resultant image is considerably increased.
