Single Shot Quantitative Phase Imaging and Complex Spectroscopy of Trapped Atoms

Abstract

We report quantitative phase imaging of micron-sized trapped atomic samples using inline holography. Absorption and phase images near fundamental limits are retrieved from single-shots holograms. We demonstrate complex spectroscopy and quasi-3D imaging of atomic samples.
