Denoising Phase Maps of Digital Holographic Microscopy by Complex Tuning

Abstract

Noisy phase maps are numerically compensated by their understanding as a complex vector superposition of the object and the noise. Denoising by estimating the noise vector achieves PSNR increase from 2 dB to 22 dB.
