Binarization of digital holograms by thresholding and error diffusion techniques

Abstract

Binarization of holograms is used for the tasks of data compression, digital micromirror device (DMD) application, and etc. 50 non-iterative local, global thresholding and error diffusion binarization methods were analyzed and applied to optically recorded holograms.
