Abstract

A Wollaston prism is used in digital holographic interferometer developed for analyzing high density gradients encountered in transonic and supersonic flows. Inserted in the reference arm of the interferometer, the Wollaston prism allows generating two orthogonally crossed waves and analyzing shocks waves whatever their orientation.
