Chiral Structures Induced by Elliptically Polarized Light in Amorphous and Liquid Crystalline Azopolymers

Abstract

Photoinduced chiral structures in four azopolymers (three amorphous and one LC) are quantified by the azimuth rotation angle Δθ. Both kinetics of Δθ and its dependence on the input ellipticity are presented.
