Alpha Emitter Detection Systems Using UV light Detector

Abstract

An Alpha-particle detection system for dark environment is developed. This system is capable to detect alpha-induced UV lights from few meters’ distance. A photomultiplier tube is used to detect the UV lights from ionized nitrogen.
