Occlusion between three-dimensional scenes in light field and hologram domains using non-hogel-based computer generated hologram technique

Abstract

We propose a novel occlusion-processing technique using the non-hogel-based computer-generated hologram. The proposed technique calculates a composite hologram with occlusion between background hologram and foreground light field which is directly processed without conversion between the light field and the hologram domains.
