Etendue-Expanded Holographic Display Using Lens Array 4-f System

Abstract

Typical holographic displays have limited etendue which generates the trade-off between the eye-box and field of view. Here, we propose an etendue-expanded holographic display system using a lens array 4-f system. Phase profile optimization strategy for the proposed system is also introduced.
