Thermal Effects In Diffractive Lenses

Abstract

For military and aerospace applications, temperature is one of the more important environmental influences on optical systems. For example, some systems are required to operate over a temperature range of -30°C to 50°C. However, little has been reported in the open literature on the effects of temperature on diffractive optical elements1,2.
