Fabrication and evaluation of two-layer stratified volume diffractive optical elements

Abstract

Stratified volume diffractive optical dements can approach volume grating behavior with diffractive optic techniques. Fabrication and alignment of the layers within such an element is discussed and preliminary evaluation of a two-layer device is presented.
