Scanning NV Magnetometry: From Lab To Fab

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Scanning NV magnetometry is a powerful and still novel method to image magnetic fields and currents at size scales and sensitivities previously only accessible with significant experimental overhead. The robust nature of the NV allows building a compact system operating in the ambient conditions typically found in R&D laboratories or even production lines. Implementing such a system is challenging both from both the technological as well as the business aspect, with topics such as advanced diamond fabrication, demonstration of capabilities and first market opportunities. In this talk, I will present QZabre’s activities and vision in this vibrant field of quantum technology.
