Silicon-Vacancy Centers in a single crystal diamond membrane as efficient spin photon interface

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We present coupling of the fluorescence of an ensemble of negatively-charged silicon-vacancy center embedded in a single crystal diamond membrane to the optical mode of a fiber based Fabry Perot cavity. The coupled system offers generation of coherent photons at high rates for various quantum optics applications.
