A nanophotonic interface to long-lived quantum memories in diamond

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We present quantum network nodes based on silicon-vacancy (SiV) color-centers incorporated into diamond nanophotonic cavities. Strong cavity coupling enables photon- mediated interactions between pairs of SiV centers. We demonstrate full control over a two- qubit nanophotonic register consisting of an SiV electronic spin coupled to a 13C memory qubit.
