Compact Quantum Cascade Laser Instrument for High Precision Trace Gas Measurements

Abstract

Results from a new generation of mid-infrared quantum cascade laser based trace gas instrument are reported. The 1 s noise for ambient N2O is 6 parts per trillion, corresponding to an absorption noise of 3×10−6.
