Explosives Detection with Copper Nanostructures Fabricated using Ultrafast Laser Ablation in Acetonitrile

Abstract

Cu2O nanoparticles and periodic surface structures were fabricated using picosecond laser pulses through single/double/multiple line ablation of Copper in acetonitrile with different input pulse energies. The substrates were used for detection of explosive molecule Fox-7.
