Active substrates improving sensitivity in biomedical Huorescence microscopy

Abstract

Fluorescence measurements sensitivity can be greatly improved by using active substrates instead of common glass slides. These substrates can be applied to a wide range of biomedical studies and furthermore can directly be used with commonly used microscope set-up.
