Abstract

Fluorescently modified peptide epitopes are applied for detection of p53 antibodies in homogeneous solution. Fluorescence correlation spectroscopy enables simultaneous detection of altered diffusional mobility and confinement of conformational flexibility of the epitopes upon antibody binding.
