Abstract

Building digital twin for self-driving optical networks requires physical layer modeling, impairment monitoring and adaptive learning technologies. This tutorial will review the recent advances on these aspects, focusing on the adoption of AI algorithms and methodologies to enable full-life cycle assessment of network status.
