Data-Centric Transmission with Adaptive FEC for Ultra-Low Latency Resource Sharing in Wide Area

Abstract

We propose individual error correction techniques for headers and data to adapt to various transmission requirements of data. We also experimentally demonstrate lossless transmission via 100-GT/s optical interfaces up to 90 km with less than 1.5% increase in latency due to network equipment.
