Integrated Microwave Photonic Phase Shifter with Ultrahigh Dynamic Range

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate, for the first time to the best of our knowledge, an integrated microwave photonic phase shifter with ultra-high dynamic range. We achieved 2π tunable phase shift with amplitude variation of < 1 dB and a spurious-free dynamic range of 121.6 dB·Hz 4/5.
