Abstract

We developed a new 8-chip, 320 Gchip/s multi-port encoder/decoder for 40-Gbps PON networks. Asynchronous, 40-Gbps × 4-user DPSK-OCDMA transmission over 50 km has been successfully demonstrated for the first time.
