All-Optical Selective Wavelength Shifter in a SOA-MZI

Abstract

Simultaneous selective wavelength conversion and data erasing of a burst of data under an optical gate in a single SOA-MZI is experimentally demonstrated. Error free operation at 10 Gb/s without any bit loss is reported.
