Observation of Aerosol Optical Properties with LIDAR and Nephelometer during wintertime of 2014 in Beijing

Abstract

Good agreement was found between aerosol backscattering coefficients retrieved from lidar at altitudes lower than 500 m and nephelometer-measured scattering coefficients at the surface, indicating well-mixed conditions in the lower boundary layer.
