A Novel Spectro-electrochemical Cell for In Operando FT-IR Spectroscopy

Abstract

A novel spectro-electrochemical cell for in operando FT-IR spectroscopy has been developed. Attenuated total reflection allows FT-IR measurements in coin cell geometry. Polysulfide evolution in Li-S batteries was studied extensively using the cell.
