Control of Light Pattern Formation by Delayed Feedback

Abstract

As known delayed feedback have a considerable influence on dynamics of nonlinear active and passive optical systems leading to multistability, hysteresis phenomena and chaos. In this report the role of the time delay in spatial pattern formation processes are revealed.
