Abstract
We show that the operational approach to phase-space measurement (propensities) proposed by Wódkiwicz [1] is equivalent to the introduction of a generalized coherent-state quasiprobability where the coherent states |α⟩ ≡ D(α, α*)|0⟩ in the usual coherent-state quasiprobability Q = (α, α*) ≡ ⟨α|ϱ|α⟩/π are substituted by ”generalized coherent states” D(α, α*)|ψ⟩ that means by an overcomplete set of displaced states |ψ⟩ or filtering slates in the terminology used in [1].
