Abstract
High harmonic generation from the nonlinear interaction of atoms with super intense laser holds has become an efficient and useful source of high frequency coherent light [1]. Idealised models in which the laser field essentially interacts with a single atomic transition and ionization can be neglected have been quite successful in predicting all essential features of this phenomenon [2].
