Abstract
Accurate measurements of isotope shifts (IS's) and hyperfine structure (HFS’s) in atoms play an important role either in obtaing precious informations on the properties of nucleus that in testing quantum mechanical calculations based on Hartree-Fock methods. In particular, nuclear effects investigations allow to estimate changes in mean-square radii, deformations, magnetic-dipole (A) and electric-quadrupole (B) interaction constants.
