Abstract

We studied the spatio-temporal dynamics of a coherent electric field propagating in a bulk semiconductor microring resonator in the framework of the Effective Maxwell-Bloch Equations (EMBEs) [1]. This model allows to capture the main features of the radiation-semicondutor interaction like the carriers density dependence and the frequency dependence of the electrons induced susceptibility without requiring an extremely heavy computational load.
