Abstract

Quantum communication (QC) protocols rely on the fast, efficient and robust distribution of quantum states over large distances. One main limiting factor in all quantum protocols is the capacity of the applied channel. Here we present a method to boost the available bit rates by encoding the information on multiple orthogonal broadband spectral modes.
