Abstract
Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems provide the means for establishing a secret key between two communication parties by making use of fundamental laws of quantum mechanics. Other than in classical schemes (SSH, TLS and the like) which are purely mathematical, QKD reqiures a substantial amount of hardware, givinig rise to elevated costs and complexity. To reduce the total cost in a multi-user network, we take advantage of sharing expensive resources throughout the network.
