Abstract

In the case of optical supercontinuum generation, rogue waves can appear as rare solitons, possessing anomalously large peak intensity [1]. To stimulate the generation of high-intensity pulses, the use of the modulation of the fiber dispersion is proposed. The propagation of optical soliton in a fiber with variable dispersion is described by nonlinear Schrödinger equation [2]
