Abstract

A novel approach for the measurements of peroxy radicals is demonstrated which relies on chemical amplification enhanced photoacoustic spectroscopy detection after chemical conversion of peroxy radicals into NO2. A 1-σ limit of detection of about 12 pptv for peroxy radicals was achieved in an integration time of 90 s at a relative humidity of about 9.8%.
