Photothermal Monitor for Black Carbon Mass Concentration using a Fiber-Coupled Fabry-Perót Interferometer

Abstract

We present a concept for a miniaturizable black carbon monitor based on a fiber-coupled Fabry-Pérot interferometer. By means of photothermal excitation, we reach a limit of detection as low as 13 µg/m³.
